The Tasmania Police Charity Trust Golf Day was held on Friday, 21 November 2025, once again hosted by Riverside Golf Club.
Marking the third year since the event’s return following COVID, the day was another resounding success, made possible by the continued generosity of local businesses, community members, and volunteers.
Proceedings began with a cooked breakfast prepared by the ever‑reliable volunteers from the Windmill Hill Lions Club. With ideal weather setting the scene, players took to the course in an ambrose format, enjoying plenty of laughs and good‑natured competition along the way. The event once again highlighted that golfing experience is optional—the real aim is supporting charity and enjoying the day.
After the round, participants reconvened for a BBQ lunch, once again expertly provided by the Lions Club, followed by presentations and the raffle draw.
Congratulations to Team Bits and Pieces on claiming first place.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and contributed, helping to raise around $2,000 for the Trust. Planning is already underway to confirm a date for this year’s event, with hopes that it will continue to grow in years to come.
The Golf Day is open to everyone, so start spreading the word among colleagues, friends, and family. It’s a great day out, packed with fantastic prizes, all in support of a worthy cause.
