Hon Stephen Parry

Stephen is the longest serving member of the Trust, having been appointed when the Trust was newly established.

Stephen has maintained strong links to Tasmania Police from his early days of service (graduated as a member of Cadet Course 7) through to his final years as a Detective in Launceston CIB in 1986.

In his role as a Senator for Tasmania, Stephen was very active with law enforcement and law enforcement integrity committees and inquiries. In recent years Stephen has been appointed to the Tasmania Police Review Board.

Stephen regularly participates in the Retired Police Association of Tasmania activities and functions. Stephen brings to the Trust, many years of public and private sector administration, financial acumen, and a strong awareness of being a community volunteer.
